Nordkit — Privacy Policy

The Nordkit Chrome extensions and Shopify apps are operated by BoohiCorp Enterprises Oy, Helsinki, Finland — the data controller under the EU GDPR. Contact: otto.maenpaa@gmail.com.

This policy covers: Calm Feed, ReplyForge, ReLister, Finnish Toolkit (Chrome extensions) and BundleBoost, AccessGuardEU, ReviewLens, Books Bridge, VAT Guard (Shopify apps). DevLens collects no data at all and is not covered here.

What we collect

• Anonymous usage analytics (only while enabled): a random, non-identifying install id and anonymous events (which features are used, timings, errors, and upgrade-funnel steps). We do not collect your name, email, browsing history, the pages you visit, or the content you process. Sent to our self-hosted analytics (PostHog, EU).
• License / subscription validation: when you enter a license key or subscribe, it is verified with our payments provider. No payment-card data ever reaches the product.
• AI features (ReplyForge, ReviewLens) only: text you explicitly submit to an AI action is sent to our AI provider (NVIDIA NIM) solely to generate your result; we do not store it.

Processors

• PostHog (self-hosted, EU) — anonymous analytics.
• Polar (Merchant of Record) / Shopify — payments & license/subscription state.
• NVIDIA NIM — AI generation (AI products only).

Lawful basis

Analytics: your consent (opt out any time in the product's settings) and our legitimate interest in improving the product. Disabling analytics stops all collection immediately. License validation and AI generation: performance of our contract with you.

Retention & your rights

Anonymous analytics is retained in aggregate. Under GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, or portability of any personal data, and may lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi). Email otto.maenpaa@gmail.com.

Children

Our products are not directed at children under 16.
